Power Boothe

Power Boothe has exhibited his paintings for over four decades. His work is represented in major collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the British Museum in the UK, as well as many private collections nationally and internationally. He has been a member of the American Abstract Artists since1983. He has been awarded an NEA individual Artist Fellowship, a Guggenheim Fellowship for Painting, and a Pollock Krasner. Power Boothe lives outside Torrington, CT and currently is a Professor of Painting at the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford.
